Jersey Gay Pride was founded and managed by Family Lyfe, A Nonprofit Organization in New Jersey, on July 22, 2007, and incorporated in January 2008.
Jersey Gay Pride's mission is to promote equality, respect, and awareness of important causes, such as bullying, food and shelter, job readiness, and local and national resources to the LGBTQ+ community of Southern and Eastern New Jersey and the surrounding areas.
We host our annual OUT in Park Gay Pride Festival on the second Sunday of September in Cherry Hill, NJ. Sponsors and vendors participate in this event. These organizations supply awareness and on-the-spot service and support. This event is open to the public.
We also host and participate in various organizations, such as Eastern Regional High School, Rutgers, Camden County College, Philadelphia Mummers, and Brittany Lynn Drag Mafia. Join our mailing list for alerts about upcoming events.
Jersey Gay Pride is a media sponsor for countless community development organizations, such as PFLAG Collingswood, GLSEN Southern NJ Chapter, Jewish Federation of Cherry Hill, Philadelphia, Merchantville Pride, Camden Pride, and many more.
With the help of our tireless volunteers, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. Our board and volunteers are comprised of exceptional leadership. We are always looking for more leaders.
Our partners and sponsors include Bayada, Comcast, Wawa, Jefferson Hospital, CHOP, National AIDS Memorial Quilt, PSEG, Cooper LGBTQA+ Health Center, and more.
