about jersey gay pride

DeAnn Cox founded Family Lyfe, a nonprofit organization, on July 22, 2007, and incorporated it in January 2008. She traveled the country attending other pride celebrations but was concerned about why there was no pride celebration in her hometowns.

Jersey Gay Prides' mission is to create, 

provide and promote awareness of important causes, such as bullying, community development, poverty, and local and national resources, to the LGBT+ community of Southern and Eastern New Jersey - Tri-State area. 

Jersey Gay Pride hosts our annual OUT in Park Gay Pride Festival on the second Sunday of September in Cherry Hill, NJ. Sponsors and vendors participate in this event, which is open to the public and provides awareness, on-the-spot service, and support.

We also host and participate in various organizations, such as Eastern Regional High School, Rutgers, Camden County College, Philadelphia Mummers, and  Brittany Lynn Drag Mafia. Join our mailing list for alerts about upcoming events.

Jersey Gay Pride is a media sponsor for countless community development organizations, such as PFLAG Collingswood, GLSEN Southern NJ Chapter, Jewish Federation of Cherry Hill, Philadelphia, Merchantville Pride,  Camden Pride, and many more.

With the help of our tireless volunteers, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. Our board and volunteers are comprised of exceptional leadership. We are always looking for more leaders.
