Due to the inclement weather and hazardous conditions, the 10th Annual OUT in the Park festival, scheduled for Sunday, September 9th from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on the grounds of Cooper River Park, Victims of Terrorism, has been cancelled. Southern New Jersey LGBTQA Pride Founder and Organizer, DeAnn M. Cox stated, "We appreciate everyone's willingness to be a part of the event. Because so many of our staff, vendors, and demonstrators are booked for the remaining fall season, we will not reschedule it. This is the first time in 10 years this festival has been cancelled."
Therefore, on behalf of the committee, we would like to apologize for the cancellation, especially to those of you who have already made travel and accommodation plans. Unfortunately, these were circumstances which were beyond our control but we intend to make next year’s festival even more spectacular so we hope you can join us then.
